Silver Stirrup Stables' pastures feature mixed grasses, enriched by lime and fertilizer applications following periodic soil testing. All pastures are cut regularly to promote grass growth. In the wintertime, well-cured hay is available "free choice" for all horses. Salt blocks and fresh clean water (automatically replenished twice per day) are present in each pasture. Mares graze seperately from geldings and stallions are not permitted. Twelve-gauge, five-strand hi-tinsel wire fencing keeps your horse(s) safe and secure.

"The Pines"
The Pines pasture, to the east of the stables, features a small grove of lofty pines and a pond on approximately eight acres.

"The Crescent"
The Crescent pasture offers an intimate three acre partially wooded parcel where new arrivals are introduced and new foals experience pastureland for the first time.

"Deerfield "
The Deerfield pasture adds another ten acres of lush grassland for rotating grazing horses.

"The Meadow"
The Meadow pasture stretches for about one third of a mile between the stable and the street and has an area of shade underneath hardwoods.
